Big changes

I haven't updated in so long because we've been working so hard to get the house ready to sell! We've decided it would be better to live closer to Shawn's work (he's had a 40 min. -an hour in traffic- commute to The Woodlands for over 3 years now) and I would be able to tutor and teach swim lessons for one of his clients (I taught swim lessons for them last summer). We'd rent for a few years, but the money we would save would offset the lost equity. It would also allow us to figure out where we want to buy a house and live after that (presumably long-term)....either in The Woodlands or somewhere else. We would LOVE to live somewhere with seasons (it's 76 degrees out right now) and close to outdoor activities (hiking, biking, skiing, camping, etc). So... we'll see what happens! Here is our house listing if you want to see it unnaturally clean and organized!

So needless to say, it's been a lot of work, NOT making a mess, especially with a 17-month old. Here are some recent pics of the 21-lb ball of energy:

With Jaxson's girlfriend Ava... our friends Jared and Christy's daughter (note: this is how the house normally looks... it's a Fisher Price obstacle course!)

Wearing his Texas A&M camo hat that Santa brought...

...That looks just like daddy's! How did Santa know?!

Washington would always welcome you! I know you've mentioned Montana as well and that would be a state I totally would live in. They get all the seasons as well. The only real difference is that we have the ocean. Where we live, we are an hour to the mountain pass, 1.5 over the moutains is the desert (it gets about 85-100 in the summers) and the ocean is 20-30 minutes the other direction. It's great! Good luck selling the house and moving...take care

Thanks Tracey!

Washington would be wonderful, plus I have a great childhood friend that lives in Bellevue... We'll be here for a couple of years and then figure it out from there... but it sounds wonderful! :) Your kids are just too cute by the way! I know Jaxson would LOVE Jaymin, he totally flirts and "talks" to older boys. It's so funny to see him be social! Take care and thanks for the invite!

Love, Ann
