First Steps!

We are so proud of Jaxson for finally taking his first steps by himself! Lately he's been "finger-walking" a lot with us and occasionally will let go and stand on his own. Last Friday he actually took a step on his own... and 2 days later he took 2 steps! My parents were there and got to witness it, it was very sweet. He gets SO proud, he claps (probably because mom is) and gets the funniest smile! I'm still trying to capture it on film... so I'll post that soon. He is a late walker, but I'm not worried... he crawled late too, and he's well with in the "normal" range for his age. Go Jaxson!

This video shows him trying to practice... and the music in the background is Free To Be You and Me (children of the 70s will recognize it I'm sure) I gave him the CD for Christmas.... and I don't know who likes it more, me or Jaxson!? (he loves to dance to it!) My sisters and I listened to the record (remember those?) over and over as kids!
