The "gock"

Jaxson has been growing and changing like crazy lately! At his last doctor's appointment to check his ears for fluid (they were luckily all clear) he weighed 21 lb. 5 oz, so he's finally gaining weight after being sick for so long! It was a relief because he hasn't gained but 2 lbs. in the last 8 months.


His latest craze is going to the park ("gock"... it sounds too much like truck or "guck") When we take him to a park in the car he sees it, screams over and over "gock...gock... gock!!!!!!" He even tries to wiggle out of his carseat. It's too funny. There's a mini park across the street from us now and of course when we go outside, all he can say is "gock...gock...!!" He loves the swings, slides ("up...up") and the steering wheel to practice his driving skills. Here are some recent photos:

The action! Jaxson is very close to full-time walking, he's just lacking confidence. Holding on with one hand he does pretty well. But as soon as you let go... he's very shaky! We just keep practicing!
