Jaxson in the NICU

California

The first weekend in December, Jaxson and I traveled to Sacramento with my family to attend the memorial service of a dear friend of ours, Jill Raukko. Jill was my parent's age and was diagnosed in July with a very rare form of cancer (they never really could figure out what it was for sure). Sadly, she passed away in November. Jill was such a bubbly, fun, caring second "mom" to me and my sisters... we will miss her terribly. As unfortunate as the circumstances were, it was great to catch up with most of our CA "family" while we were out there...

...And fill up on In-N-Out!!!

MMMMM.... the best burger and fries ever. (this picture made Shawn jealous)

Very appropriately dressed for the "Firehouse" restaurant in Old Town Sac

Checking out the firehouse decor

SO TIRED... Jaxson's nap schedule was pretty much out the window (I'm sure that helped him get sick) the whole trip... the boy needs his sleep!

George, Jim, and my dad... old tennis buddies

The Holy Grail... my phone! Sometimes the only way I could get him to take his medicine is let him play with that or the TV remote...
