Happy Halloween!

This Halloween was a huge success, Jaxson was a monkey (not that far from reality) and a super-cute one at that. We had fun carving jack-o-lanterns and even did some trick-or-treating! Looking back to a year ago, his first Halloween he spent attached to an oxygen tank and apnea monitor, doing normal newborn stuff like eating, sleeping, and fussing...

... In my "newborn-baby memory fog" I do remember trying to feed Jaxson on the couch and watch the Ghost Hunters Live marathon (I'm a complete junkie), while Shawn dutifully answered the door and passed out candy. I can honestly say I enjoyed this Halloween so much more!

The next few photos are from the day before Halloween:

Jaxson 'helping' dad carve his pumpkin

The jack-o-lanterns... mine (on the right) was supposed to be "scary" since Shawn's was happy. I think it lookes more "scared" than anything else!
Trying out the new red wagon
The inaugural "spin" around the block
The rest are from Halloween!...
"So cute it's scary"
Ready to go!

What? I have to take it off?

Oh my goodness! What an adorable monkey!!! Those pictures are so, so, so cute!!! And wow -- look at the amazing difference that a year makes. He is so much bigger than a year ago! :)
