So Thankful!

What a difference a year makes! Below are photos from Thanksgiving 2007 and 2008... quite a difference. Last year Jaxson was still on oxygen, I just took off the canula for a few minutes to take some "face-junk"- free pictures for posterity. You can still see the red cheeks.

This year we went to Illinois for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful dinner with my family at my Aunt Mimi and Uncle Bill's farm. On Saturday we had a memorial service for my Grandma Maurer and buried her ashes. It was such a beautiful ceremony. It was a very fun and meaningful trip, I'm so happy we were able to go. Jaxson enjoyed all of the attention and got to meet a horse, play on a tractor, and eat some deep dish Chicago-style pizza (the real deal!)... I'll post more of that soon!

We have had a great year and are so thankful for our families, friends, and health... we are very blessed!
