Here are a couple belly pics at 12 weeks... taken almost 2 weeks ago. As you can see I'm starting to pooch out a bit! It might be a little exaggerated since they were taken at night after I had eaten dinner.
I had my post-op check up this week and the doctor said everything looks really good with the baby and my cervix! She even said I should be exercising "light" (walking, etc) 4 days a week. I'll have to wake up super early to walk before it gets too hot! I do still plan on "taking it easy" though. I want to keep this baby in till Christmas or longer! Jaxson still says it's a "girl"... and he's having a "sister" (how does he know the relationship between those two words? Smart boy!) So we'll see. I have another ultrasound on August 3rd and we'll most likely find out then! I start my (fun fun fun) progesterone shots in 2 weeks. The shots are meant to calm the uterine muscles down, to prevent contractions and thus prolong pregnancy. With Jaxson I had a lot of contractions and these shots definitely help women in my situation stay pregnant longer! Shawn will be taught to administer them so I don't have to... I don't think I could do it to myself. A home care nurse will come out and teach us how to do it sometime soon.
Until then I will be trying to stay cool and enjoy being pregnant for -more than likely- the very last time! :) oh- I think I'm also starting to feel some flutters... I remember Jaxson started bouncing around about 14 weeks as well! More cute pics of Jaxson soon!
