Remodeling

I can't believe it's been 2 weeks since I last updated! The reason for that is we have begun the remodeling process (actually we've been working on it for a week now) and I don't have access to my computer or my pictures. So far they have completed the new roof, totally new ceiling in the living room and kitchen, patched sheet rock in the laundry room and office, painted, installed AWESOME new lighting and ceiling fans, and new insulation in the attic. Today they began work on the new hardwood floors where the carpet was soaked. Hopefully that will be done in the next couple of days. We are also looking into (while we're at it...) new granite countertops and a kitchen sink in the kitchen. Oh- and better blinds. This is all stuff we dreamed about doing someday to increase resale value of the house (and just make it a nicer place to live) and this- although bad circumstances- was a great opportunity. So in the mean time we've been staying with Shawn's parents again (thank you!) and are looking forward to moving back in soon... exactly when depends on what we do with the granite in the kitchen. I'll post pictures soon when it's all finished!

Jaxson has been "cruising" furniture more lately and is sprouting 2 (maybe 3?) new top teeth! He's been saying "go" for everything and "ma ma" and "da da"... so we're working on more words. He "talks" a lot with his hands and loves to dance! I'll try to get some of that on video....
