Ok... so I changed the background using a freebie from "thecutestblogontheblock.com" to this super cute (I thought anyway) blue and brown background with a couple of daisies at the top. It was pretty simple and nice I thought... and definitely not too girly (if you know me you know I'm not a "girly" girl)..... OH NO... both grandpa (my dad) and Shawn both thought it was "too girly" (it was funny they both said it in exactly the same words) so I've changed it to one not quite as "girly". I tried the John Deere tractor background, but just couldn't do it.... not yet anyway! (and no sports-themed ones either (grandpa!)... I just can't go there)
Today we had to go to the doctor for a fever and ongoing diarrhea caused by those nasty antibiotics Jaxson had a couple weeks ago. The doctor took a stool sample which Jaxson had anticipated they would need, thus he provided one in the waiting room! Hopefully we'll get to the "bottom" of this and he'll be better in time for his birthday party on Saturday. Here are a couple of recent pics showing Jaxson's new "skills":

He is sooo proud!
He's always interested in the bottle of pumped milk, so I let him play with it one morning... (I still pump once a day for his cereal and one bottle of "vitamin milk")
A new and improved use for his bouncer!
This was a great way to keep Jaxson "contained" at least for a couple of days... then he figured out how to climb out! He also likes to go for "rides" in the laundry basket

Wow Jaxson....you're getting so big and growing so fast! Look at you pulling up on everything. Watch out mommy, walking is not too far behind. I know I didn't have my house baby proof before Jaymin started pulling up but it was shortly after!! I hope they figure out what is going on with Jaxson. Get better big boy!!

His fever is gone so we went to Gymboree today, which Jaxson loves. I'm also giving him probiotics in his food which will reintroduce the "good bacteria" into his system which the antibiotics killed... hopefully they will help. Still waiting on the test results! Hopefully it's nothing but his system getting back to "regularity"... Take care, I hope you guys are doing well too!
