Dr. Appointment Update

Today I had another Dr. appointment... I can't say how nice it was to get out of the house and drive my car!!! It has been 2 weeks since I've left the house. On top of that it was a beautiful day and cool by Houston standards (low 80s). The appointment went well, she said everything looked good and my fFN test came back negative. (that's good). I asked her when and if I'll ever come off of bedrest, and she said if my next ultrasound shows an improvement (lengthening and/or no more funneling) in my cervix, then we can "talk" about increasing my activity. That was great news! I'm not counting on it, but it is giving me a glimmer of hope.

I am sooooo thankful to still be pregnant! I'm now 25 weeks 5 days along... almost 26 weeks! Jaxson was born at 30 weeks, so I still have a month before I'll feel better about everything. (Halloween weekend is week 30... I can't wait till then!) I may have to set up outside the front door in a lounge chair and witch costume to pass out candy that night. :) That would be cute, huh? The pregnant bedridden witch. ha.

I have to say among all of our wonderful family and friends who are helping IMMENSELY with Jaxson and dinners... I have to thank my wonderful husband! He rocks! He's basically become a single dad with 2 babies to take care of, and he's been quite stressed lately, which I feel very guilty about. I want to help so badly and I can't. So I thank everyone for their support, babysitting, cooking... it means so much! I look forward to being able to take him on a nice relaxing vacation where he doesn't have to do anything!

Thank you everyone for your support, thoughts and prayers... they are being answered!

Love,
Ann
