Quick Update

I'm just now feeling like I'm able to sit at the computer, otherwise I've been glued to the couch all day yesterday and today. Shawn took the day off yesterday to take care of Jaxson and his mom came out early this morning to take care of me and Jaxson (Thank you Kris!)

The cerclage went "very well" yesterday according to my doctor. She said my cervix looked good, closed, and long which is good news. I did feel pretty crampy all afternoon so I tried to move as little as possible. I have felt better today, just a little tender in my lower abdomen. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat before the surgery and it was 163bpm. Very cool! My next doctor appointment is July 8th and we'll hope all continues to go very well until then. Shawn did tell me today I'm looking too skinny, most likely due to the amount of lounging I've been doing. He told me I need to eat a hamburger! I think he's right, I'm finally getting a bit of an appetite after feeling gross for so long. I'll try to get a little belly pic posted... it is starting to stick out some! (after I take a shower of course and maybe put on some makeup...) Thanks for the prayers, phone calls, and e-mails!
