A windy day

Several weeks ago we spent the afternoon and evening with my sister, parents, and niece. It was a VERY windy and cold day, but very beautiful... the perfect day to fly a kite! We went to Bendwood park and enjoyed the time together while playing and flying the kite...

Just before this picture the girls were flying the kite and they accidentally let go! Shawn had to sprint across the field to catch the line. When he finally caught it, he pulled the line and the kite miraculously rose like a phoenix from the treeline. There was a lacrosse team there and they were all cheering too!
