Oh boy, it's been a sad but good last few days. My little guy is growing up. He's decided that he doesn't want to nurse anymore. It's kinda hard for me, with all that we've been through (hours and hours of pumping in the NICU and then when we came home it took us 3+ months to nurse full-time) so it is bittersweet. We've been nursing just at nap and bedtime for a few months, so it wasn't much anyway... but it's still hard to lose that bond. At the same time, it's nice to know I don't have to worry if I'm not around for bedtime (Yea! girls' night out here I come!) Jaxson just grabs his cookie monster and falls asleep on his own now.
He's also walking sooo much better! He's turning into my Big Boy! Here's his current progress with a little bonus dance at the beginning (again right before bathtime!) He loves his bath so much he just walks right in there on his own! Enjoy!

Oh....sad! I wonder if I'll feel the same way with Rilyn. I absolutely love breastfeeding and feel so blessed to be able to continue to do it with her since I didn't get to do it much with jaymin. But...yea....for girls night now. I can't leave Rilyn for more than 2 hours cause she still loves to eat so frequently no matter if she's hungry or not.
