Birthday Party and Update

This last weekend we helped Jaxson and Tyson's cousin Alex celebrate his 3rd birthday. It was a lot of fun! We got to see Shawn's brother and sister in law who are currently living in Rotterdam. It was good to catch up! Alex and Jaxson had a great time playing... and squealing... and playing... it was cute. It will be fun when they move back and are closer!

Tyson has been doing FANTASTIC! I cannot complain about the lack of sleep or anything else. He is a big piece of cake compared to Jaxson when he came home from the NICU, we are so lucky! He's been gaining weight and sleeping well AND he's nursing 100%!!! I am slowly tapering off the pumping which is nice, although I'll continue a bit for a while... I am again a milk donor for the Mother's Milk Bank at Austin (www.mmbaustin.org). I did that after pumping for Jaxson and was able to donate 3000 ounces of milk for premature babies. All that frozen milk has to go somewhere! Anyway, Tyson is doing great... today at his weight check he weighed 7 lb. 3 oz! You can tell... he's getting chubby cheeks!

I am slowly adjusting to having 2 little ones... for the most part it hasn't been too bad, but it is definitely more difficult to get out the door and sometimes it's pure chaos when they both need me at the same time. (like today when Jaxson had to go down for his nap and Tyson was screaming to be fed) So, there is an art to be learned with handling 2... I'm working on it! :)
